6. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has finalised the protocol to conduct convalescent plasma therapy for the treatment of severely ill COVID-19 patients on April 10, 2020.

7. The Finance Ministry announced on April 9, 2020 that it has deposited amount worth Rs 500 in each Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) account held by women for the month of April. The Ministry will be depositing Rs 1000 more over the next two months of May and June.

8. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) on April 10, 2020 validated the usage of TrueNat for COVID-19 tests. The TrueNat machines are used to test drug-resistant Tuberculosis (TB).
