• To tackle the air pollution government launches Nationa Clean Air Programme (NCAP) by Environment Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan in New Delhi.
• Meanwhile, Dr. Harsh Vardhan also shared a twitter clip talking about National Clean Air Programme.

For Renukaji dam multipurpose project six states sign an agreement

• On Friday in New Delhi, an agreement for Renukaji dam multipurpose project was signed among 6 states such as Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh in the presence of River Development, Water Resources,  and Ganga Rejuvenation Minister Nitin Gadkari.
• As per the latest information chief ministers Jairam Thakur, ML Khattar, Ashok Gehlot and Yogi Adityanath, TS Rawat, Arvind Kejriwal signed the agreement.

Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019 passed in Lok Sabha

• On Tuesday union government has passed the citizenship (Amendment) Bill.
• The bill seems to provide Indian citizenship to non-muslims from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan.
• For both in and outside the on the parliament, the bill was passed amid severe protests.
• However, the Union home minister Rajnath Singh mentioned that the bill does not discriminate on religious lines.

Cabinet Approval On Foreign Affairs On January 10, 2019

• Based on maritime issues between Denmark and India cabinet approves Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
• On Development of Advanced Model Single Window cabinet allowed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Japan
• In the field of new and renewable energy on technical bilateral cooperation cabinet approves MOU(Memorandum of Understanding) in between India and France.
• To increase the healthcare infrastructure in the country On 10th January 2019 the union cabinet approved the establishment of 3 more AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences).

Ravi Shankar Inaugurates NIC Command & Control Centre

• To manage IT infra, services government sets up command and control center.
• Ravi Shankar Prasad, who is the minister for electronics and IT has inaugurated NIC/s command and CCC (Control Centre) on 10th January 2019.
