Karnataka Public Works Department (KPWD) every year release recruitment notification for Grade-I Assistant Engineer (AE) (Civil), Junior Engineer (JE) (Civil) vacancies. The KPWD recruitment will be conducted through Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) or directly from KPWD officials. KPWD AE, JE posts comes under Group A, Group B / Grade-1, Grade-II Category. KPWD Recruitment Method
PWD Karnataka selection process consist of Competitive exam, Mock Test. Main Written Exam will conduct through Offline-OMR type OR Computer based recruitment test-CBRT.
Competitive exam will be Objective Multiple Choice type. Most importantly there will be negative marks of 0.25 (1/4th ) for each and every wrong answer. Therefore we advised all the candidates to update the answers carefully.

Compulsory Kannada Language Test
In the Compulsory Kannada Language Test to qualify Candidates should get minimum 50 Marks from 150. Candidates who do not get the minimum 50 Marks will not be eligible for Interview or for Selection (Amendment Date: 07-06-2007) and Marks obtained in this Compulsory Kannada will not be considered for Selection.
Karnataka Civil Services (Through Competitive Exam, Direct Recruitment and Selection) (General) Regulations 2006 as amended from Time to Time and Interview for any Technical posts notified as specified in the Amendment Rules
