About SSC

This commission is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) which consists of Chairman, two Members and a Secretary-and-Controller of Examinations. His post is equivalent to the level of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.

SSC Constable Notification

Candidates those who are looking for SSC Recruitment notification need to full fill the below qualification and recruitment process.

Education Qualification

Candidate should have completed 12th pass to apply. If Sons / Daughters belongs to Ex serviceman can apply with 11th pass.

Age Limit:
Minimum 21 years and maximum 25 years.

• OBC, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B Candidates: 3 Years
• SC, ST Candidates: 5 Years

NCC Holders will have granted at the below scale.

Certificate	Category Incentive/ Bonus marks
NCC-C Certificate	5% of the maximum marks of the examination
NCC-B Certificate	3% of the maximum marks of the examination
NCC-A Certificate	2% of the maximum marks of the examination

SSC Exam Patron

The SSC exam patron is Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT) followed by the Medical Examination of the recommended candidates. CBE will be conducted in English and Hindi only.

The Computer based examination (CBE) will consist of one objective type multiple choice paper containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks, with the following composition

Note: Most importantly there will be negative marks of 0.25 for each wrong answer.  Hence, we request all the Candidates are advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.

The applicants scoring below-mentioned as cut-off marks (normalized) will be considered as eligible for short-listing to the next stage i.e. PE&MT:
1. Unreserved: 35
2. SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS: 30
3. ESM: 25

Candidates will be shortlisted category-wise on the basis of their merit / Marks scored in the Computer Based Examination (CBE) for appearing in PE&MT. The number of candidates shortlisted for PE&MT on the basis of their merit in the Computer Based examination will be around 12 times (probably 1: 12) of the number of vacancies

Physical Endurance Test (PET) for Male candidates

For male candidates Standard of PET  including ex-servicemen and Departmental candidates (age-wise) as mentioned below.

Height: Minimum 157 cm

SSC Admission to Examination

All the Candidates should carry Admission Certificate (Hall Ticket/ Admit card) while attending the Computer based exam, Also mandate to carry the recent two passport size photographs and Original valid Photo ID proof which is having the date of birth (DOB) as per the Admit card. For ID proof candidate can bring any of the following Id’s
1. Aadhaar Card/ Printout of E-Aadhaar,
2. Voter’s ID Card
3. Driving License
4. PAN Card
5. Passport
6. ID Card issued by University/ College/ School
7. Employer ID Card (Govt./ PSU)
8. Ex-serviceman Discharge Book issued by Ministry of Defence.
9. Any other photo bearing valid ID card issued by the Central/ State Government
